The difference between zippers of different materials

Normally there are 3 kinds of zipper on the market：metal zipper ,nylon zipper and plastic zipper.Metal zipper with metal teeth like brass,aluminum and S.S,it looks more upscale，and with longer service life. Nylon zipper teeth is thinner, look translucent, feel like a root of  wire circle.Plastic zippers -- that is resin zippers with thick, opaque teeth，it feels like a piece of plastic, usually square teeth.Nylon zipper is soft and resin zipper is stiff.

Generally,people use nylon zipper on underwear, skirts,seaters and other thin fabrics,use resin zipper on coat and sports cloth,and use metal zipper on jeans,and leather products.
